The world – or perhaps just their city – is crumbling to dust. Alien-like creatures called Neighbors are becoming more and more of a threat due to a lack of resources and other societal issues on their planet. It’s up to the Border agents to ward off the Neighbors and protect everyone around.
I’m glad, however, that this season painted the Neighbors to be neutral rather than the enemy. Sure there are some of them that bring chaos and destruction, but there are also others that simply want to be at peace and live their lives the way they wanted. Kuga and Hyuse are good examples. They have nothing to wish for besides being with the people they care about the most.
The fights were as amazing as ever! Exciting. Exhilarating. Literally, you’ll hold your breath for a while until the whole scene is done. There are very few anime shows that make me feel this way, and I’m super glad that I got to experience that kind of thrill again while watching this show!
